Susan Rosenberg has worked in sales, marketing, distribution, record label and executive positions in the music business, including positions at Koch International, Putumayo World Music, RCA Music Group and Palm Pictures. Susan founded Magenta Marketing, a company specializing in music marketing and project management for independent artists and record labels in 2004, and expanded in 2008 to include artist management. In 2012, she started Magenta Label Group, an umbrella label through eOne Distribution, releasing over 300 music projects in several genres. Mockle Music was launched in 2018, following as a conversation with co-founder Mark Gorney about how artists can best reach new audiences through connections with friends and colleagues within the music industry.

A San Francisco native, Mark Gorney has been a publicist of music from around the world for over 20 years.  Following a stint as director of publicity and promotion for the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Mark joined the publicity and A&R teams at the Berkeley office of Putumayo World Music.

In 2000, Mark founded Worldisc, an agency for the publicity of "local music from there." Worldisc has provided North American publicity and promotion for artists and releases from World Music Network, Real World, Blood & Fire, Palm Pictures, Quango, Porto Franco and the Numero Group, and handled national and regional campaigns for Rokia Kone, Baaba Maal,  Les Amazones d'Afrique, Sidestepper, Etran Finatawa, Emmanuel Jal, Sierra Maestra, Debashish Bhattacharya, Bob Brozman, the Creole Choir of Cuba, Toto La Momposina, Frank London, David Broza, Ernest Ranglin, Väsen and many more.

In addition to Mockle and Worldisc, Mark continues to spin 7" 45s at several Bay Area venues and is a lover of travel, art, history, trains, craft beer, grottoes and water-based civilization.
